A lifetime of caring for others

For over 31 years, I’ve dedicated my life to caring for others as a registered nurse, 24 of those years in community nursing. 

I’ve witnessed human nature at all levels, in every style and form, and have learned that the best way to manage, guide, and support people is simply by allowing them to be who they are. 

Running my own nursing business has taught me how to organise, lead, and make things happen, often with a little sparkle and creativity along the way.

More than just a nurse

I’ve always been a bit of an adventurer at heart — funny, kind, compassionate, and a little quirky. 

I have a toolbox overflowing with life’s skills and passions: Reiki, life coaching, photography, soap making, gardening, and countless experiences that shape the way I see the world. 

I love being around people.

I love dressing up, creating themed moments, and bringing a touch of theatrical fun into whatever I do.

Why I became a celebrant
Becoming a celebrant has been a dream for many years. Now, as I approach 60, I’ve decided it’s time to follow my heart and create something I truly love. 

I help people celebrate life’s moments — weddings, vow renewals, commitment ceremonies, and more — with warmth, authenticity, and a touch of whimsy.
